Brooklyn Accident Injures Pedestrian

One person was injured and another person was arrested following a serious accident in Brooklyn Tuesday afternoon, November 8.

According to the police report, a Jeep, driven by Jawara Stennett, of Brooklyn, a 24-year-old male, overturned on Fulton Street at Stuyvesant Avenue, just after 1 p.m.

A pedestrian was struck by the Jeep and was transported to Bellevue Hospital in critical condition, according to police.

The driver, Jawara Stennett, was also wounded and taken to Kings County Hospital in stable condition.

Police also arrested Mr. Stennett for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license. Police say that Mr. Stennett could face additional charges.
