Cop In Jeep Accidentally Kills Teen

An off-duty cop driving his pregnant girlfriend to the hospital struck and killed a 12-year-old girl on her way home from church in The Bronx.

Virginia Verdee, 12, had just left the Love Gospel Assembly in Fordham on Friday night, September 23, with her older sister, Natalie, 14.

According to eyewitness, the younger girl, Virginia, was fatally hit by a 1997 Jeep Cherokee and tossed 30 feet.

The distraught older sister said that the man driving the Jeep Cherokee ran the red light and hit her sister.
