Crash Involving DWI Injures Three

January 5, 2006

A West Monroe man was charged with driving while intoxicated after a two-car crash sent three people to the hospital, said state Trooper Andrew Reed. The crash happened about 6 p.m. on Route 11, about a half-mile south of the village of Central Square, Reed said. Roy Hart, 31, drove into oncoming traffic, colliding head-on with another vehicle, Reed said. All three occupants of that vehicle were sent to Crouse Hospital with minor injuries, Reed said.
