An early morning head-on collision sent two people to the hospital.
The accident happened at the corner of Thompson Road and James Street at around 3:00 a.m.on Monday, November 7, said De Witt police.
Investigators from De Witt Police Department said that a Jeep and a Cadillac hit head on and then ran into a guardrail.
The driver of the Cadillac, 20-year-old Justin Baxter, was critically wounded and taken to University Hospital.
The driver of the Jeep, 19-year- old Kelly Lachut, suffered major injuries and was also taken to University Hospital.
Police say there were no eye witnesses to the crash.
