Yonkers Woman Dies In Crash

Police have been investigating a Tuesday, September 13, accident in which a 73-year-old Yonkers woman was killed.

According to Detective Lt. Maureen Zadorozny, the crash happened at the crossing of Park Hill Avenue and Lakeside Drive at about noon.

Colette Singleton, 51, was driving 1993 Ford station wagon in which Grace Tucker was a passenger and crashed into a utility pole in the Park Hill section of the city, police said.

Grace Tucker was pronounced dead at St. Joseph's Medical Center in Yonkers.

The driver, Colette Singleton and another passenger, Rosetta Wade, 56, both of Yonkers, were injured and treated at hospitals.

Investigation is going on.
