Police Cruiser Involved In Fatal Bike Accident

Police and Rescue crews responded to the scene of a fatal car accident in Cicero.

The incident happened shortly after 5:30am Saturday, August 20,at the intersection of Caughdenoy Road and Brewerton Road.

According to the Cicero Police Chief, a Cicero Police officer was responding to a call in Brewerton when he struck a bicyclist.

The biker was fatally injured but not the officer.

Onondaga County Sheriff's Department is investigating the accident.
