Award Of Benefits By WC Judge Affirmed In NJ Appeals Court

January 16, 2006

According to a NJ appeals court, the compensation judge in Walden v. Excel Constr. & Design Co., et al. (#39-2-1837 App. Div.) properly granted petitioner medical and temporary benefits against the respondent-appellant Hall. The judge found that the work effort and injuries connected with the performance of petitioner's duties for Hall, the last of four employers, was sufficiently independent of, and different from, his work effort for the other employers to warrant Hall's being solely responsible for the award.
