Two Killed In Horrific Truck Accident

Two people were killed in a truck accident on I-287 in Montville, New Jersey, this morning, November 4, that backed up traffic for miles.

According to authorities, a box truck carrying parquet flooring swerved into the railing on the side of the northbound highway near milemarker 49.2 just after 8:30 a.m.

One victim was crushed in the truck, the other was tossed onto the busy highway. Both were pronounced dead at the scene.

It appears both victims were in the box truck at the time of the crash, police said.

MAN FACES CHARGES FOLLOWING ACCIDENT

A Waterford man faces criminal charges after an early morning car accident in Troy on Saturday, November 5.

According to the police report, James Snow Jr., 21, was speeding when he approached the intersection of 103rd Street and 5th Avenue on Saturday morning.

Mr. Snow's car broadsided the car of Elizabeth Charnock, 28, of Menands.

Mr. Snow was arrested for DWI and other charges.

Ms. Charnock and a passenger, Michelle Genovese of Troy, were both taken to Albany Medical Center with serious injuries.Top of Form
